I've got a new HP netbook with a Ralink wireless pci device that needs the RT5390 driver, but I haven't found one for RHEL/sci linux. There are versions of the driver for other distros, but as of yet I haven't seen the one I need. If anyone knows of one please let me know! The RT3090 driver from EL repo doesn't work for my device.

Hi,
i found your driver at 'elrepo' testing repository, so you need:

1. install elrepo repository (if you dont have it already)

2. install firmware
rt2680-firmware

3. install driver
kmod-rt5390sta-2.4.0.4-1.el6.elrepo.i686.rpm
or:
kmod-rt5390sta-2.4.0.4-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64.rpm
depending on your architecture

or download manually rpms from:
elrepo testing

cheers,
