I'm working on this HERE. If I get to the point I am able to either:

1) Switch Cards at any state of the boot process, or

2) Turn off one of the cards for battery savings...

I will post a proper "how-to" here, thus I'm reserving this post for that smile.gif

I'm trying to turn off one of the graphics controllers per the guide linked above, and I'm greeted with a permission denied as below:

[john@localhost ~]$ su -
Password:
[root@localhost ~]# cd acpi_call
[root@localhost acpi_call]# ./test_off.sh
-bash: ./test_off.sh: Permission denied
[root@localhost acpi_call]#


hmmm...anyone? I know it's simple, but it's late....haha
