I've got this up and running on SL6 rewriting the install script and with some compiling - if anyone wants the lowdown post back.

It is however all in German! (Browser locale, keyboard.) So I need to figure how to access a root terminal in the VM (it boots straight into the browser with VB menus etc. disabled).

It's nice work - I'd like to know how they got the VM window and browser window to resize in tandem. The kernel is security hardened also apparently.

Quick update on this, I have the browser locale and keyboard map set to en/gb OK. It should be possible as well to set these settings as command line args on startup or as default settings during the install.

I'll post the steps I went through when I get chance.

Thanks for this I hadn't even heard of bitbox. I have done this before on Windows systems (used a vm solely for browsing I mean), but it was just too much of a pita to be day-to-day practical. How usable is bitbox in practice? ie boot time for the vm/browser; using shared folders etc?
