Hello,
I have some problems with compiler while installing source package. I installed the gcc compiler and yet it doesn't seem to work. Here is the error message I obtain:
I can put the config.log but it is a bit larger than this so I would do if asked. |

Installing from source is strongly discouraged in an rpm-based distro like Scientific Linux (unless of course, that is the only option).
I see "rakarrack-0.6.1" in the prompt. If you can live with a slightly older version, rakarrack is available from the EPEL repositoy: yum install epel-release yum install rakarrack -------------------- ELRepo: repository specialized in hardware support for EL
