Hello,
I have just installed Scientific Linux 6.2 and I tried to connect to Internet, the same way I used to do in Ubuntu (and in Ubuntu it worked). Right Click on Network Connections icon -> Edit Connections - DSL -> Add Entered: Connection name, Username, Service, Password. After saving the data, I got a message error: Saving connection failed: (0). Can't write connection type 'pppoe'. Any ideas / solutions? Is there a file where one can edit this PPPOE connection and save it? Thanks! |

Issue solved, but in CentOS 6.2. When trying to use (connect) eth1, I edited and then saved also DSL (PPPoE) connection... this time I could save the data. So, it worked - now I can connect to Internet. I guess the same should be done also on Scientific Linux 6.2. |
