None of these application are included in the RPMforge repository, and I read the warning header not to have it installed with EPEL.
Is there any another way to download & install these applications ? Any help will be greatly appreciated |

You could try installing it from Koji (koji DOT fedoraproject DOT org). Be aware that you will have to manually resolve dependency issues, which could be a bit cumbersome.
To know which dependencies are required, try installing the .rpm file that you downloaded, and it will give you an error with the list of dependencies. You will have to make a note of them. Then try installing them from koji or elsewhere. Upon trial and error, you will see that the dependencies have to be installed in a particular order. Some may even have to be compiled from source. |

I am not in SL 6.1 right now, but doesn't Gnote come with SL ? It is a port of Tomboy and can be added to the panel.

@U308: Yeah, Gnote is installed by default .. but OP had asked for Tomboy specifically
![]() I prefer Gnote anyway, it's much lighter .. |
