Below are my queries, Can someone help me on this?
1) Different ways to disable the Serial port. 2) If the setserial command is used to disable the serial port, I am getting the below error: a.Cmd: setserial /dev/ttyS0 uart none irq 0 port 0x0 (run as root user) Err: Cannot set serial info: Device or resource busy What needs to be done for the setserial command to succeed? 3) Is there any chance to disable the serial port using grub configuration files? What will be impacts in doing so? 4) If agetty process(serial port listening process) is stopped from being started, what will be the impacts? agetty is stopped by commenting the lines in /etc/init/serial.conf |
