Hello Everybody,
my name is Dario. I write here a little for support and a little for leaving a trace for others with the same my problem. I manage a server providing various services, between them is tftpd. The service is mainly used for storing configurations and operating systems for routers. I was perfectly working with kernel-2.6.32-131.21.1.el6.x86_64. After upgrading to last kernel version (2.6.32-220.2.1.el6.x86_64) I was not able anymore to read and write files (through tftp protocol). No other malfunctions came to my eyes. I tried, unsuccessfully, many ways to investigate a possible changed behavior (but the tftp server was not changed, so no connection was possible). At the end I installed the previous kernel version, which corrected the problem. Any suggestion on how to signal this problem to developers would be really appreciated. Thanks for your kind cooperation Best regards and wishes for new year Dario |
