Hi all,
I'm new here. I heard from friends that SL doesn't have problem providing patches for 6.x. If you don't mind I'm asking. Why doesn't SL have problem in providing patches for 6.x? Currently I'm using Centos and I see problems with that. Thanks. |

Hi there & welcome, truly, i'm not sure about CentOS atm, since i dont use it. But, if it is as you say so, i can imagine, it would seam, there is not enough of devs that can prepare patches for all currently active versions -4, 5 and 6 .... while the SL has, having backup at big state and/or public and/or scientific organizations like CERN and tech Universities. Hardly can say more about it, not enough data ... cheers, -------------------- |
