Hello everyone,

I am having a bit of a strange problem with my USB Sound Card. It's a C-Media Electronics model. It is plugged in and is detected by "lsusb" and is being displayed under "Sound Hardware", but is not appearing under "Output Devices". So, as you can imagine, I can't seem to select the USB sound card as the output even though it is being recognized. I'd appreciate any pointers towards getting the USB sound card to display under "Sound Output".
