Hi, Not yet. Didn't have any reason so far to do it (except for just sheer joy of recompiling) On contrary, newer kernels (starting 2.6.36 i think) have problems with power management (draining battery on laptops) so i'm not tempted that much... cheers, -------------------- |

Thanks for the reply, however; be better to move up a bit, there are lot of software around that can minimize battery usage!

I'm running 2.6.39 with no noticable problems on a lappy. No noticable improvement either mind, and I have to admit I got a little excited by the 200-line patch hype!
