I've been trying to download the ISO DVD images to try out Sci Linux, with goal of then trying out Labview for Linux. I've started several downloads both on the home site using http from Mozilla, and from the FNAL mirror using FTP, both run until almost done, and when I come back to see what happened, it's failed.

Frustrating. Anybody have suggestions?

Try the download on a different internet connection, it sounds like your connection is flaky.

I just tried again, and it worked OK writing direct to HD. Previously I was trying to save it directly to a USB flash drive. Maybe too slow or formatting problem.

Thanks,
BG
