All in the heading really. I installed a card reader, which worked fine the first time I used it to take pictures off the SD card from my camera then some more from the micro SD card from my phone. Since then I have had to revert to an old removeable USB card reader as nothing happens when I put a card into the reader for that user, and when I switch to either of the other two users there is an error message to the effect "permission denied for 4GB media device" - whether it is a 32 (camera) or 4gb (phone) device.

To recap, it looks as though no removeable media has been inserted into the media for the user currently logged in. But a permissions error appears for each of the other two users, whgich can be seen in turn when each of them logs in.

How do I find where this card reader device is listed and what should I alter the permissions to so any of the three ordincary users can access it and errors are not show to the others?
