Has anyone in this community been able to install Winetricks located here at:
http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks
and if so, could you please share with us how you did it?

I believe it contains scripts and libraries to make windows game run more smoothly with wine.
i tried following the directions on the website, but they appear to be in Deb/ubuntu instructions.

-Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Winetricks isn't really something that you "install". You just download it, and then you can type "sh winetricks" into your command line from literally any directory and it will fire up Winetricks.

I have read that If you've downloaded your own copy of winetricks, you can install it manually. I think, some Linux distributions include winetricks in their wine packages, so that you don't have to download it separately.
