inventory keeping software, what is there for tracking of supply's

SLF Newbie Group: Members Posts: 5 Member No.: 3986 Joined: 19-February 18	so couple months ago i changed to scientific Linux cause it seems more stable. and so far so good my problem is i have alot of various supply's in my "computer lab" and i need a way keep inventory more efficiently than writing it on a table in a .odf document so what inventory keeping solutions can you recommend in sl? thanks

I believe OCS Inventory is in EPEL

so now im looking for OCS inventory and the client

with yum and i cant find it even though i have the EPEL mirror enabled on SL. i dont really want to install from source if i dont have to is there a command line i can use?

come to think of it not sure this what im looking for
im looking for something to keep track of the amount of supply's and location of supply's in the store room for the "computer lab'
