Davmail, How to install davmail

SLF Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Member No.: 1756 Joined: 30-July 12	Hey all - I am a relatively new linux user, so please bear with me if my terminology is incorrect. I am trying to install davmail on my scientific box. I have been unable to locate a working rpm for this program .. has anyone had success installing davmail on a RHEL distro?

SLF Rookie Group: Members Posts: 22 Member No.: 158 Joined: 12-May 11	Hello, I'm using it all the time to interface with some OWA at work. I had some issues with their RPM on 64bit arch, however the tar.gz archive is ok. Just download http://sourceforge.net/projects/davmail/files/davmail/3.9.9/davmail-linux-x86_64-3.9.9-1976.tgz/download and untar it; then run davmail.sh and that's it. Obviously you need Java installed (the SL provided OpenJDK works fine). -------------------- Check out my EL6-based desktop remix: http://li.nux.ro/stella
