Hey,

I am using a computer that uses Scientific Linux Ver 6.3. It is currently set up as a cluster computer that we can log into and run a program to run simulations. Only one person may log into the cluster and run a simulation at a time.

I have been doing some reading into this and apparently we can set up the program to have a job processing/queueing system to allow us to line up jobs for the computer to process.

I am still slightly unsure how to go about doing this. Would I need to look into Multi Process Daemon (MPD)? Should I look into getting something like Sun Grid Engine? (I have had some limited experience with SGE commands.)

Thanks
PM
