I was wondering if RHCS is pulled over in version 6 or 7 if not is there any other clustering suite available?
Thanks

I have two nodes that I need to set up sel7 on and they will by my clustered app nodes for my group. And I am looking for options to do this with.
Thanks

Hi,
i think you'll have to a bit elaborate your question. I didn't work with the clustering suite on 5 so i'm not sure what and what it included there. ..

I've worked with HA clusters in 6 (but again not in 7) so i can't give like 'overall' answer. There were changes in between version in HA clustering in between versions..

cheers,

I guess what I want to know is does scientific 6 or 7 have a native clustering suite that come or is supported / preferred to use with it.

Also what clustering suite is everyone else using in their environment.

Thanks

Hi,
sorry for late reply, been down with a flu and then had to catch up with things in work and now i catch with things on forums...
Anyway, yes SL has Clustering suite - if we talk about HA clustering.

And there is quite differencies (again) between 6 and 7.

I recommend to google : "Cluster Creation with rgmanager and with pacemaker" where rgmanager is in 6 and pacemaker in 7.

Be ready for some extensive readings :]

cheers :]

No problem, I understand I have been swamped myself. Ok I will check out what you suggested, I also found mesos apache and am considering that for a HA clustering.

How do you like pacemaker? I read some not so nice things about it.
