Greetings!
I got installed SL7 on Virtualbox VM, but I can't get a full screen resolution. I tried to install the VBox Guest Addition, but I got: Failed to set up service vboxadd, please check the log file /var/log/VBoxGuestAdditions.log for details. I hope your answers, alx |

It would help if you show what the /var/log/VBoxGuestAdditions.log file says. Also, what is the output from the commands:
uname -mr and rpm -qa kernel\* | sort -------------------- ELRepo: repository specializing in hardware support for EL

You are running a very old kernel (3.10.0-229.el7). I strongly recommend that you update your system to the current version, SL 7.3.
For some reason, if you have to run that old kernel, you'd need to install the matching kernel-devel (3.10.0-229.el7) package. -------------------- ELRepo: repository specializing in hardware support for EL
