This is more of question/suggestion, why don't we use https on the forums? Don't know if everyone uses a different password for every forum/website they are on. There's probably not a whole lot of privacy sensitive data going over the network to the server where the site is hosted, but it's still user login information going over the network in plain text. And there are free ssl providers so it doesn't have to cost anything: https://www.startssl.com/ and opening up for public beta this week I think: https://letsencrypt.org

Just my two cents wink.gif

I agree that would be a good idea, at least to protect our login password from being intercepted and then abused.

The SL-Forum is hosted at http://jcink.com/ so I think this would need to be set up by them, not sure if it's possible but I'll make enquiries.

Ok, feedback is that jcink currently doesn't offer https but there is a possibility that it will be added at some point next year.

Isn't jcink also a user on the forum who does the webhosting for the forums for free? Guess no complaining for something offered for free wink.gif But good to know it's on the agenda for 2016 smile.gif
