My questions
1) I had PCLINUXOS installed on my machine. Then I installed SL wanting dual-boot mode. But now I dont find PC LINUX anymore. In the opast with different ubuntu distros there came up a menu during boot with a choice of options.
2) Despite following the instructions webdav doesnt work. It did with the other distros
3) dropbox is installed dont know when and how but doesnt update automatically. Did with the other distros

This is for SL7, not sure which version you are using?

1. Find out which partition/disk PCLinuxOS is installed by running "blkid" in the terminal.
2. Edit the file: /etc/grub.d/41_custom. For example:

#beginning example
menuentry " PCLINUXOS" {
set root=(hd0,1)
linux /vmlinuz-3.11-custom
initrd /initrd-pclinuxos.img
}
#end example

root: being the disk and the partition you got from the blkid command.
- if you have pclinux os on your first disk and first partition: set root=(hd0,0)
linux: being the kernel used to boot from
initrd: being the inittrd image being used

3. save that
4. run the following command in the terminal: grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

About webdav, to where/what are you trying to connect to via webdav?

for dropbox you can probably just use the rpm from their website. SL and Fedora should be mostly binary compatible
