on Fedora19 schrindingers cat. say i go on the web browser and go to crystal saga.com(actually R2Dgames) to play a browser based hack and slash i try to connect to server. SELINUX blocks it by default config. i had to go to konsole and run command
$setenforce permissive (dis ables selinux)

on SL6.3(carbon)mini cd i start up with the boot paramater live_ram ( i have no hd)

i go to firefox> then to crystal saga and it connects me right up with server. i get no se linux warning ? or block.

why ? is fedora more secure?

I wouldn't say that the Fedora 19 SELinux config is more secure based on your example. It certainly is more/too restrictive, but that's not a good thing as it induced you to completely disable SELinux, hence in practice it makes your system far less secure!
