Hi all,
I'm looking for a server monitoring solution, the RedHat way on SL, that is, from sl repo. All packages that I found (nagios, munin etc.) seem all to be in epel or rpmforge repo. Surely there must be a full blown, official way of monitoring the server load (network, disk i/o, cpu and the so) beside the CLI tools. Could anyone kindly tell me which is the best solution for servers with SL and RH if I try to avoid using 3rd parry repos? Thanks. |

Hi there,
i'm not aware of any gui tool for server monitoring. I use 'sar' to have general overlook on my system resources usage. It is CLI utility though too. There is e.g. 'ksar' as gui frontend, but i'm afraid it's not RHEL native either. cheers, -------------------- |
