I just install 7.1 on a vmware. SL 7.1 came up without networking turned on. I don't see anyway to turn it on. How do you start networking on 7.1?

Greetings,

I took a very long time for the networking icon to appear. I now have networking enabled.

Or you can edit your network interface file:

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcg-ethX

and add the following line: ONBOOT=yes

Or do it via nmcli:

connection modify eth0 connection.autoconnect yes

then: nmcli connection reload.
