Using SL6, during the post-install phase of the Kickstart install, I was able to switch to TTY 2, and do a `tail -f` on my log file.

I'm trying out my first SL7 install, and now the post-install log is created, but it's empty until after the installation is complete. I've found someone else having the same problem on CentOS: https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=59953

So what's the procedure for this sort of thing? Should I open a bug with upstream? I assume it's their problem, and I can't find any sort of bug tracker for SL.

Thanks.
