Hello All!

First post here so please be forgiving :-D
I'm looking for some help installing nvidia drivers on a SL 7.4 workstation running a Nvidia Quadro P4000 Graphics card.

I have read many a different guide on how to do this but am getting nowhere
I have followed this guide:
https://linuxconfig.org/nvidia-geforce-driver-installation-on-centos-7-linux-64-bit

As well as this one:
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/rhel7centos-nvidia-drviers-updated-christopher-meacham

I have kernel-headers, kernal-devels, gcc, glib-devel, and all dependencies installed as well.

The nvidia installation gets to 100 percent and then throws an error.
Upon looking through the /var/log I see the error but can't find a resolution anywhere.
Here is the whole logfile:

Any help would be much appreciate. Thank you!!

Not sure whether this is a good solution, but the last time I installed the nvidia driver, I installed it from elrepo, this is the guide I found from this forum.
