error : can't mount external harddrive

Hello all who read this.
I'm new to SL.

I have a problem mounting a external harddrive;
It is connected using USB;
Has ntfs as filesystem.

My setup is
a laptop from Packard bell, cpu : Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU T6600 @ 2.20GHz × 2
SL 7 geinstalleerd.
Gnome Version 3.14.2

The harddisk has 2 part(itions

I tried to insert the drive twice.

try installing the ntfs package:

... Logical (but important) add: you need to have the EPEL Repo installed (and enabled) to use the

yum install ntfs-3g

command.
