I've gotten everything working great on SL6.3x64 on my HP 8460w, except for this one issue...standby.
When I put the compute to sleep, all is well. It wakes from sleep, and works great. When the screen shuts off after 10min (or whatever interval I choose), it re-wakes just fine. But, if I leave the machine for longer, say, an hour or so, idling, the cooling fan spins up some, and nothing I do will make the display re-wake. I can powercycle the machine by holding the power button, but nothing else will make it respond. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this/fix it?
I'm using HP's provided proprietary RHEL drivers for the graphics card, an ATI M3900.
Thanks in advance!
