The latest version of Firefox & Thunderbird can be downloaded from the Remi repo.
Download and install the packages (Firefox or Thunderbird and Xulrunner) from their RHEL6 section. Packages can be found here. Download both packages for your system and install with "yum install *.rpm --nogpgcheck". This way you have the latest software without having to enable the Remi repo. You will have to check their site on a regular basis to see if there are newer versions -------------------- What is SL? - Forum Rules - Info on 3rd Party Repos - How to post images - How to post large text / config files

Updating this topic seems needed.
Since Mozilla isn't really developing Thunderbird anymore, I suggest using the SL version. It will save you the extra trouble and both versions are pretty in sync with each other. So all you need to do to keep Firefox up-to-speed is download that package and the "xulrunner-last" package from Remi. -------------------- What is SL? - Forum Rules - Info on 3rd Party Repos - How to post images - How to post large text / config files
