Hi I have ethernet connection problem so I am asking for help from here.

I've looked up at the internet and did a lot of various things but I still don't get a clue why my ethernet connection has a problem.

Are there any recommendations that I might try?

Thanks for your help in advance

Are you running SL 6 or 7?

What does your interface configuration look like?

cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-em1

I also experience the same. I sometimes have internet connection problem. However, it could be due to wireless connections or router. Have you check it lately? Or the ethernet issues could be caused by cable or hardware issue.
