Hi,

So we installed Google Earth Pro onto a Scientific Linux Desktop.

We had some teething problems, but after upgrading the Graphics Card,
and drivers etc, it worked find under testing.

However, upon rolling out to the user, it doesn't start under the users login.
No splash screen, nothing.

If I get another user to login - who is a member of the same group,
and appears to have all the same permission sets, Google Earth Pro works fine.

I'm wondering if it could be something along the lines of an Environment Variable ?
- Although I have compared both users, and they look identical.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thank You

Kind Regards

Kev

This issue has now been resolved.

renamed the google config files to google.bak
re-launching the application forced it to re-create those files,
and it now works fine.

Thanks.
