Doesn't matter which you use, they are both rhel clones, before it was SL coming faster with updates/releases. Now it seems like CentOS is faster with updates/releases again, probably because they are actually part of redhat now.

You'll have a better chance of getting an answer if you ask that question in the SL mailing list. There is I think one or two devs active here, but more chance of response in the official mailinglist.
