Help appreciated. Have been successfully using SL 2.6.32-220.17.1.el6.x86_64 for a couple of months.

Today, after logging out of one user, and attempting to get to another user, it would not make the transition.

Rebooted, and the boot process stops after reaching
Starting atd: [OK]

There is a warning at the beginning of the boot process, but not sure it is relevant:
Starting udev: ACPI: I/O resourc 0000:00:1f.3 [hex_number] conficts wtih the ACPI region SMBI [another hex number].

I have an old Suse linux OS, and it still works, so the laptop seems ok.

Thanks for any help on this.
