Hi Guys,

i can install my webcam (vgn fe48g Viao) in Ubuntu with these commands:
QUOTE
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:r5u87x-loader/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install r5u87x
sudo /usr/share/r5u87x/r5u87x-download-firmware.sh


But i'm not sure, how can i install it in sl6

All it does is install a driver.

There are RPM packages from this driver available for Fedora link.
You can try the ones from Fedora 12 or 13.
Or grab the source of the last one and rebuild if for SL6 if you're feeling adventurous wink.gif
