When I want to update ntfsprogs I get this message:
testdisk-6.11.3-2.el6.rf.i686 requires libntfs.so.9 : Success - empty transaction
What does that mean and what can I do to solve this?

Use yum to install it.

# yum --enablerepo=rpmforge provides */libntfs.so.9
