I downloaded the SL 7.3 LiveCd for a new machine I built with an AMD Ryzen 1700 CPU. The LiveCd ran OK, but when I installed to a local drive, it failed to boot from there.

I looked around and found the SL 7.4 beta. Tried that and the installation disk wouldn't even run.

I installed Fedora 26 and everything is peachy, so I am ruling out hardware problems.

Has anyone else tried the Ryzen CPUs with SL7 yet?

Ryzen 1700
32 GB dynamic RAM
Samsung 960 Evo SSD in the M.2 slot
nVidia GTX 1050 Ti graphics card
